Youth Ministry
Our Cluster parishioners, through the Appreciative Inquiry process, have expressed a clear desire to support the youth in our Cluster.
A youth-oriented mass is held in the Cluster every first and third Saturday of the month -
+ First Saturday night of the month at 6pm at St Therese' Church, Colonel Light Gardens.
+ Third Saturday night of the month at 6.30pm at Holy Cross Church, Goodwood.
Mass is normally followed by a tasty supper.
St Therese' Church, on the corner of Springbank and Goodwood Roads, is the hub of the Colonel Light Gardens Catholic Parish, which is part of the Cluster.
Holy Cross Church, Goodwood Road, Goodwood, is the hub of the Goodwood Catholic Parish, which is part of the Cluster.

Goal 1: To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
Goal 2: To draw young people to responsible participation in
the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.
Goal 3: To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of
each young person.
Ministry with adolescents must begin with a focus on the
correct vision and purpose.
The Parish Planning Team and all parishioners must ask
themselves these questions:
What is our understanding of youth ministry?
What is the purpose of youth ministry?
What are we currently doing to minister to young people in
our Parish community?
Discussing these questions aims to ensure that the group
shares a similar vision and perspective of youth ministry.
